Painted Wood sits between the solids and the woodgrains: grain structure is present, but a painted or lacquered layer sits over it, so the surface reads as painted timber rather than as bare wood. It is a useful register for schemes that want the discipline of a painted finish without losing the substrate's texture.

Every pattern in this collection shares the same physical product: 0.2 mm (8 mil) PVC film with a channelled acrylic adhesive, supplied on 48″ × 164 ft rolls and applied dry between 12 and 38 °C.
